Freddie joined Merrow Wood in 2026 as Executive Director, bringing 15 years of senior housebuilding experience to the business. He began his career at Berkeley Group (St George) in 2011, qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor with the RICS in 2013, before joining Cala Homes’ Thames division in 2016 — progressing from Senior Land Manager through Land Director to Managing Director over the following decade.

At Merrow Wood, Freddie draws on this background to lead land acquisition and landowner relationships, applying a clear understanding of what makes a site genuinely deliverable — and genuinely valuable — for everyone involved. Having spent his entire career on the housebuilder side of the table, he knows exactly what drives commercial viability, and uses that insight to shape stronger outcomes for landowners from the outset. He’s a strong believer that the best results come from doing things the right way — built on integrity, fairness and genuine partnership with everyone involved in a project.

Outside of work, Freddie lives in Kingston upon Thames with his family, where he can usually be found walking the dog, tending to a fairly ambitious vegetable patch, or watching Arsenal with his fingers crossed.
